Program KUPOZ

Attention Development Program for 8 to 12-year-old children

About the program

The program's principle is based on shared parent and child collaboration.

The program aims to playfully support the child's development in the areas of attention, visual and auditory perception, endurance, self-confidence, stress resilience, and other psychological traits applicable in school and beyond.

Every day of the week (for 15 weeks), the child performs three to four exercises, each lasting a maximum of 20 minutes. These exercises focus on auditory and visual discrimination, conceptual thinking, communication skills, vocabulary, attention, fine motor skills, visuomotor skills, the ability to work under time pressure, endurance, memory, etc. Tasks from the aforementioned areas are repeated daily with increasing difficulty.

Subsequent lessons in the program exercise the same area but with a different type of task. Some tasks have time limits. The given time allocation provides the child with control over their own performance, showing how their pace has improved. Lastly, it eliminates the fear of time-limited tasks, which often arises, especially in connection with school activities where there is little consideration for the child's individual working pace. The KUPOZ program helps the child get accustomed to time limits in situations that do not pose a threat to them.

The focal point of the entire program is the child's homework with the parent. For 15 weeks, the child works with one of the parents daily on assigned tasks. Every two weeks, we meet to assess how you are progressing in the program together. I will provide you with materials for the next period along with instructions. The child has the opportunity to share their initial successes and impressions, which can strengthen their motivation for the program.

Both the parent and the child are learning effective collaboration.

We consider it a success when the child completes the assigned tasks. The correctness of execution is not as crucial. In addition to the pervasive attention training, this program intentionally develops expressive abilities, strengthens social empathy, fortifies the relationship between the parent and the child, and brings regularity to the life of both the family and the child.
